We will meet in the Fellowship Hall at Niles Discovery Church to share our projects and fellowship. We currently have knitters, crocheters and quilters sharing their skills.
We recently established a relationship with the Fremont Center of Alzheimer’s Services East Bay (ASEB) located off Mission Blvd. They provide a variety of services including Montessori style programs for Alzheimer's and Dementia patients. Not only will we be able to provide their clients with completed 'Twiddlemuffs', but we will be able to provide them with knitted, crocheted or sewn muffs and the 'twiddly' stuff (buttons, bobbles zippers and lace). Clients who are still able to do needlework can then finish the muffs for themselves and others.
