We will be discussing The Fifth Season, by N.K. Jemisin. It is a dystopian fantasy novel set on “the Stillness,” a supercontinent by catastrophic climate events. It follows three women-Essun, Syenite, and Daplagued maya-who can manipulate geological energy, as they navigate a world that fears and enslaves them during the onset of an apocalyptic “Fifth Season”. 

This will be a leaderless discussion, so please prepare one or two questions/observations to share with the group.
