Fun at the Niles Train Museum

At our local Niles Train Museum, Villagers and friends gathered to swap stories about their very first jobs. The sweet scent of donuts, fruit kabobs, and freshly perked coffee set the stage for a fun trip down memory lane.

Our gathering turned into a lively storytelling session, as members shared tales ranging from pulling butter, cleaning blinds, and babysitting gigs to washing dishes at old diners and stocking grocery shelves. There’s something magical about donuts and good conversation. It brings people together. Everyone’s got a first job story—and a favorite donut.

Topic: History of Flying A and the Car Club

Join the fun at GNV’s May Members’ Social at Niles Flying A!

You will be treated to a 20-minute Informational Talk about the station history and car club, followed by a typical lunch from the 1950s with grilled hot dogs, chips and soft drinks.

Niles Flying A provides an entrance to Niles and is being restored to a museum dedicated to the history and car culture of our town. It provides a social gathering space for automotive enthusiasts and support the Niles community. You won’t want to miss this fun and informative event.
